Over the summer Scott remodeled our house, adding on one new bedroom up stairs and expanding our living room to make more room for the larger family we have been blessed with. While the construction phase took place, the kids and I stayed with my parents in Phoenix. The jobs was supposed to take three weeks, but ended up taking six. When all was said and done we had a much larger living room, all three kids have their own bedrooms, new carpet, new fireplace, new larger TV to enhance the larger living room, and a finished back yard that includes a lovely grass area for the kids to play on. Overall it was a well done and necessary remodel. Needless to say, we are not going anywhere for a while. We will be in this house for some time.
We spent the late part of our summer camping and putting our house back together. We love to camp and get away, even if it is only 25 minutes away from our house. We take the quad and other toys out and just have a great family weekend. The camper is getting a little more cramped for space, but we manage to fit all five of us in there.
Ethan is also growing up very fast. He is 9 months old now and we are discovering that he has a happy disposition. He wakes up happy and goes to bed happy. He always seems to be smiling, and is a very loving little boy. He is very big for his age, weighing in at 22 pounds and 31 inches. He has two teeth and more on the way. He is crawling all around and pulling himself up onto everything. It won't be long before he is walking and following his brother and sister around.
Right now we are all just living our lives day to day. Each day brings new challenges and joys, but that is the beauty of life! Every day is a new day, and I couldn't think of a better way to spend my days then with my family and friends.
I have included some pictures of things we have done since my last post.

Kim,
You did a great job. Thanks for the update - the pictures are so cute! I can't believe how grown up they all are now! Now I'll quit bugging you for new pics. :) We need to get together soon and have a little reunion with all the kids!
