Since Halloween we have had a lot going on. Maddy had her fifth birthday in December. We went to Peter Piper Pizza to celebrate since it was snowing and cold on the day of her birthday. She had a great time and enjoyed playing games and being with her friends for the day.

After Maddy's birthday we geared up for the Christmas holiday. We spent a few days picking that "perfect" tree and we spent a few days getting out the decorations and finding a good place around the house that little Ethan would not destroy. When all was said and done our house looked great and the kids had a great time helping us get the lights and decorations up.
This year we decided to assemble some of the gifts ahead of time so that the kids would wake up to some toys already to go. It was so great to hear the kids come down stairs and hear the excitement in their voices when they saw the zebra tent and sand tables in the living room. I took a picture from upstairs to show a better perspective of our living room.
After Christmas we had a pretty quite new year and then geared up for Ethan's birthday in early January. It is hard to believe a year has already passed. Ethan is such a joy in our lives and we love seeing all of his accomplishments. He started walking around 11 months and is now running every where with his brother and sister.
